Purpose of the Student Council
The purpose of this council shall be:
Develop attitudes of, and participate in, good citizenship, leadership, & positive human values
To maintain a continuous communication channel between students, faculty, administration, and community
To offer year-long and orderly direction for social programs / activities and community involvement projects for students
Assist and promote the general welfare of the school
To offer its members opportunities for personal growth and participation
Develop leadership in the youth of today, such that they may become the strong leaders of tomorrow
To respectfully represent changes / needs, brought to the council by the student body, to Denver Administration and School Board
The goal of this council is to serve as a student advisory group to the school administration and faculty on important issues concerning any part of the student body, its organization, or its functions.
